Your Monthly Wellness Newsletter from Kiss Your Food

Happy Thursday friends!

I truly hope this edition of the Kiss Your Food newsletter finds you well.

With Thanksgiving knocking at our door, I have a few thoughts to share about gratitude.

Sharing your appreciation for something someone did or even for who they are as a person and the part they play in your life does wonders for both of you - it's doubly advantageous, if you will.
(Some super fancy-pants words for ya! ha!)

Not only can it brighten their day, but it can give yours a big boost as well.

Did you know that?

It's true!

Here are just a few of the amazing things that happen when you adopt an “attitude of gratitude”:

  • Improves self-esteem
  • Lowers stress
  • Reduces anxiety, depression, and intrusive thoughts by keeping you in the present
  • Boosts energy
  • Teaches your brain to rewire itself and look for the positives first
  • Promotes a healthy immune system
  • Enhances the quality of your sleep
  • Strengthens relationships with those around you, even if they aren’t the direct recipient of your words or gestures of appreciation

And this is really just scratching the surface!

You can read more about The Science of Gratitude by clicking here.
(Psst . . . That link 👆🏼 takes you to The Hub, so if it's been a while since you visited, you may need to sign in again to read the article.
Not a member yet? Don't worry, it's free and takes mere seconds to join! Then, you'll have free access to ALL SORTS of great health & wellness related articles like this one.
Simply click that link and follow the steps to create an account.)

What’s even better is that you don’t have to adopt a time-consuming gratitude practice or journal about it every single day to reap the benefits.

You know my philosophy is all about Keeping it Simple, so here’s what I want to teach you today.

Simply being mindful of the fact that gratitude does all these amazing things for your body, mind, and spirit is all you need.
Just reading this is already helping, since it will be in your thoughts now as you go about your day!

If you’d like to take this tidbit of goodness a step further, I challenge you to do two things:

  1. Reply to this email and tell me two people in your life you are grateful for and why
  2. Forward this to those two people, so they know you appreciate them

That’s it!

You’re well on your way to all of those amazing things listed above.

I am incredibly grateful for you! I hope you and your family have a safe and happy Thanksgiving and that you keep the gratitude flowing far after the turkey is devoured and all that remains of the pumpkin pie are a few little crumbs.

Take care, my friends,

P.S. Was this sent to you by a grateful friend?
Keep the gratitude goodness flowing by participating in the 2-step exercise above.
